​ Akanksha's Journey with CREA: 

Empowering Adolescents  through Feminist Leadership 

The Feminist Leadership, Movement Building, and Rights Institute (FLMBaRI) is a flagship program by CREA, a Global South-led feminist human rights organization. FLMBaRI is designed to strengthen feminist solidarity, leadership, advocacy, and strategies to build collective power for social transformation. The Institute engages feminists from across various regions to build a substantive understanding of contemporary contexts, challenges, and possibilities.


Jiya Naaz Journey with Jugni Fellowship : 

Advocating for Adolescent Minority Mobility Rights 

Jiya Naz, a passionate advocate for social justice, focused her Jugni Fellowship journey on adolescent minority mobility rights. Through this initiative, she worked closely with marginalized communities, addressing the barriers that young individuals from minority backgrounds face in accessing public spaces, education, and employment opportunities.


Ankita's Journey with  NYCC Fellowship, 
supported by YuWaah at UNICEF India​ 

The NYCC Fellowship, supported by YuWaah at UNICEF India, aims to empower 30 young grassroots-level climate advocates from diverse backgrounds across the country. The fellowship provides resources and training to establish local chapters and mobilize youth within their communities, fostering government-youth partnerships.

Through the fellowship, Ankita has been instrumental in empowering the youth and young women of  Jharkhand. Her efforts focus on raising awareness about climate change, promoting sustainable practices, and encouraging community participation in environmental initiatives.

Film Festival

Adivasi Feminist Voices: Gender and Climate Change Go Together

Adivasi Lives Matter (ALM), in collaboration with the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival (ALT-EFF), hosted an Environmental Film Festival at the Dr. Ram Dayal Munda Tribal Research Institute in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The event showcased a selection of impactful films and documentaries centered on environmental conservation and the lived experiences of Adivasi communities.
